Tragedy visited our CWA Agents family on Sunday, August 11, when passenger service agent Kendrick Darrell Hudson died on the job at Charlotte Douglas International airport. Agents honored his memory at a vigil on August 18.

On Wednesday, October 3, 2018, the Senate overwhelmingly passed an FAA Reauthorization bill that included critical protections from assault for passenger service agents. The bill also included a long-needed increase in the minimum rest period for flight attendants.

Early this morning, on September 12, 2018, our CWA Bargaining Team reached a tentative agreement with Piedmont. Details of the agreement will be made available soon.
The CWA bargaining team met with the Envoy team on September 5th and 6th. They discussed proposals on scope and classifications and passed a proposal on the drug policy. The next bargaining will take place in early November.
