In November Piedmont agents gathered for a major Leadership Training event in Charlotte, North Carolina. They held mock hearings and learned all the practical details they will need to help fellow agents navigate grievances and other problems at work.
In November more than 20 Envoy stewards trained as agent advocates in Chicago and Dallas, learning how to handle a variety of questions and procedures under the new contract. They look forward to providing help to all their coworkers.

On January 4-7, 2019, CWA Local 3645 hosted over 50 shop stewards from 22 stations in District 3 at its third annual Steward Leadership Conference in Charlotte, NC. The training was designed to help stewards clearly understand the details of the new Piedmont contract.

On December 5, newly elected Congresswoman Donna Shalala and State Senator Jose Javier Rodriguez joined Envoy-American Eagle passenger service agents for a rally outside MIA in support of a fair contract and against poverty wages.
