The results of our CWA-Envoy bargaining survey are in and our first meeting with the company is April 17-19. We need strong and visible support from our members at every station, and are pleased to see everyone joining in the "green wave" and rallying for fair wages.
Piedmont members in Local 13301 are getting motivated to lead, participating in steward training, and mobilizing for political action as never before. We need every single member to become involved with positive thoughts and actions.
As of January 1, 2019, new protections from assault went into effect for passenger service agents across the country. Since January, we have been meeting with American Airlines to determine exactly how we will implement tools and policies to make the assault protections a reality at all our airports.
During meetings with the company on May 17 and 18, a total of 13 proposals and counter proposals passed between the bargaining committees. We reached Tentative Agreements on Article 6, Hours of Service and Article 14, Leaves of Absence.
The escalating problem of Passenger Service representatives being assaulted on the job by passengers is one that CWA is working overtime to address, with the goal of protecting all our agents from harm.

The CWA bargaining team met with the Piedmont bargaining team on March 7, 8, and 9, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. We saw significant progress and movement on a number of our proposals.
On February 28, March 1, and March 2, members of the CWA Bargaining Committee and Deanna Davis from the Advisory Council met with EnvoyBargaining Committee members.
The Local 3645 team recently visited Louisville (SDF), Greenville-Spartanburg (GSP), and Wilmington (ILM). At SDF they were able to help negotiate the return of a terminated agent.
